To provide for the training of a Medical Alert Service Dog Team (one veteran/one dog) to improve the Veteran's Quality of Life and Prevent Suicide following the Participant Trained Service Dog (PTSD) protocol.
Who can sign up to get a service dog?
Any Veteran with a diagnosed disability
How much does it cost for the vet to get a dog?
Free: NO Charge to any TADSAW client
What kind of service dogs are offered?
One Nose - 4-legs preferably and One Tail !!! TADSAW uses shelter/rescue dogs therefore saving two lives at a time..
How long does it take to get the new service dog?
3 to 5 weeks to begin the TADSAW program
Where does the organization get the aminals to train?
TADSAW only uses dogs at least 12 months old to train
