At JTFK9s, our mission is to empower our nation’s heroes and protect our communities by "Saving LIVES One Dog at a Time". We bridge the gap between elite tactical training and compassionate service, ensuring that those who have served us never have to walk alone.
Who can sign up to get a service dog?
Veterans and Law Enforcement Officers with PTSD, Operator Syndrome, and/or TBI.
How much does it cost for the vet to get a dog?
Free, No Cost associated with any of our programs.
What kind of service dogs are offered?
PTSD dogs
How long does it take to get the new service dog?
14 month training program of in house breed dogs. We do not have a first come first serve waiting list. Our dogs are giving out based on pairing personality, lifestyle, and stress levels. No one size fits all format.
Where does the organization get the animals to train?
Breed in house. Breed for purpose though current service dogs and great genetics
