What makes the organization unique?
Warriors2Racers is a dynamic program/nonprofit organization and is dedicated to transforming the lives of military veterans through the thrilling world of endurance racing. Founded and operated by volunteer veterans, our mission is to provide a supportive community where veterans can rediscover a sense of belonging and purpose.
Who can sign up to participate:
US veterans and active duty with proof of service (e.g. DD214 or ID card).
For active duty, it is highly recommended to get unit leadership approval prior to getting behind the wheel.
How Much Does It Cost?:
Free to become a member and participate in iRacing league, $25 per year for full members to participate in all activities. Racing opportunities in wheel-to-wheel are highly subsidized but there usually is cost-share of consumables (i.e. fuel, brake pads, tires, etc.)
What kind of activities are offered?
We provide training and experience for prospective motorsport drivers to participate safely as drivers, crew, or riders (we have a motorcycle program in development for 2026). After drivers/riders and crew finish climbing the development ladder and have shown appropriate levels of skill, the program advocates and vets the member for racing teams.
How Long Do The Activities Last?:
Varies. Online events last an hour. Initial real world events usually start at single day length and transition into 3 days depending on where they are on the development ladder
