What makes the organization unique?

Warrior Spirit is passionately committed to serving veterans, first responders, individuals in recovery, educators and youth across Galveston, Brazoria, Harris, Brazos, Fort Bend, Montgomery and Washington counties. Our mission is driven by a deep desire to nurture the whole person—mentally, physically and spiritually—through educational programs, peer-support mental health services and healing therapies such as equine, art and sailing. Guided by the principles of servant leadership, we aim to foster genuine connections, rebuild resilience and inspire hope. We work alongside like-minded nonprofits and community partners because we believe everyone deserves support, compassion and the opportunity to thrive.

Most services and events are free or low-cost ($10-15).

Mental Health Peer Support & Recovery Peer Support (individual and groups, in-person and virtual), wellness education classes and activities, therapeutic activities (Art, Sailing, Equine).
