What makes the organization unique?
WarHawgs Adaptive Sports Program The program is comprised of three (3) different sport activities which are deer hunting, wild hog hunting and paint ball. All events take place within a 1.5 hour drive of Dothan, AL. The location of deer/wild hog hunting will be determined upon obtaining land lease and other permissions.
Who can sign up to participate:
Veterans, Active Duty Military and First Responders
Veterans recovering from and learning to adjust to life with spinal cord injuries (SCI), traumatic brain injuries (TBI), loss of sight, and post-traumatic stress (PTS). They have specialized equipment to accommodate some of the most injured military heroes thus helping our honored veterans find this “new normal”.
How Much Does It Cost?:
Free.
What kind of activities are offered?
Deer, wild boar(hog), turkey hunting and a host of other wild game
and paint ball.
