What kind of activities are offered?

Second Saturday Monthly Surf Day: Operation Surf’s Second Saturday Monthly Surf Day is held at various surf locations around the central coast of California. Open to both veterans and the public, we meet together every second Saturday of the month at 8 AM. The exact location is announced one week prior, allowing us to choose the most suitable spot based on swell conditions.

Week-Long Program- surfing- week-long program is an epic, life-changing adventure for our military and veterans. Bringing our participants directly to our programs within supportive coastal communities and exposing them to the healing power of the ocean.

Week-Long Program: Special Operations Forces: his week-long surfing program is a life-changing investment for our nation’s Special Operations Forces (SOF) and their families. This curriculum-based program focuses on wellness, performance, cohesiveness, and reconnection. The challenges and rewards of the curriculum directly impact the betterment of the family unit and, ultimately, will increase the service member’s optimal performance, self-resilience, lethality, and military career longevity.

OS3 – Three-Month Program: OS3 is a three-month, locally-focused program that provides veterans with an opportunity to bond through surfing, keep each other motivated, and move forward in life with a new perspective. Focused on four key pillars of mentorship, unity, family, and the peace of surfing, Operation Surf inspires to make lasting change in the lives of our community. In OS3, veterans make a commitment to each other to surf as a group at least twice a week for the duration of the program.
