What makes the organization unique?
Laramie Range Adventures for Veterans (LRAV) is dedicated to fostering healing and personal growth among veterans through transformative outdoor adventure programs. By engaging in activities that promote connection with nature and build lasting friendships, we empower veterans to find peace and purpose in their post-service lives.
Who can sign up to participate:
Veterans must have a combat award proving they were in combat, such as a purple heart, silver star, combat infantry badge, etc. Each service has some awards that are only given for combat service.
How Much Does It Cost?:
Free, All costs — transportation, lodging, food, equipment — provided free.
What kind of activities are offered?
Camping,
Hiking,
Hunting-Shooting (antelope, elk, waterfowl)
Fishing,
and Team-building exercises.
