What makes the organization unique?
Believe that nature and camaraderie can transform veterans’ mental, physical, and emotional health.
This 5-day program, set in the Hunter-Frying Pan Wilderness near Aspen, includes:
Guided nature excursions: Led by an expert team of guides, psychologists, and moderators.
Moderated philosophical discussions and camaraderie: Creating space for veterans to share their stories and connect on a deeper level.
Opportunities for personal growth: Achieving newfound healthy psychology, vitalized bodies, and receptive spirits.
By the end of the program, veterans emerge with a stronger sense of teamwork, deepened bonds with fellow participants, and a renewed outlook on life. Huts for Vets is committed to helping our nation’s heroes experience the profound benefits of nature, camaraderie, and positive health outcomes as they transition to civilian life.
