What makes the organization unique?
Sole mission is to bring Combat Veterans, of all wars, and of all branches of the Military, into the great outdoors to give them the healing from PTSD that only Mother Nature can provide.
Hunting with Soldiers also provides a Dove Hunt every year that is for Combat and Non Combat Veterans. We also do what we call Sweat Equity Trips. This is also for Combat and Non Combat Veterans. This is a way to give back to the land or boat owners. The Veterans will hunt or fish in the morning and evening, and during the day, do things, such as trim trees, clear brush, minor construction, etc. for the host.
Since our goal is for the healing of PTSD, what better way to heal than for the Combat Veteran to get out into the outdoors with their Son or Daughter. Our only rule is that the Child be 16 or under.
Who can sign up to participate:
Combat Veterans, of all wars, and of all branches of the Military.
Including events for Non Combat Veterans.
How Much Does It Cost?:
Free, They only charge our Combat Veterans a handshake.
