What makes the organization unique?
The mission of the Arizona Elk Society is to benefit elk and other wildlife by generating resources for habitat conservation and restoration, and to preserve our hunting heritage for present and future generations.
Who can sign up to participate:
Any veteran can sign up.
How Much Does It Cost?:
Programs are completely free to any veteran who signs up.
What kind of activities are offered?
Hunting, bass fishing, fly fishing, equine therapy, hiking
How Long Do The Activities Last?:
From one day to a weekend. Classes for fishing are meeting once a week for 4 weeks, then a weekend trip. Hikes are day hikes, hunts can range on number of days, equine meets once a week for 8 weeks
