Art Spark Texas champions accessibility in the arts through multidisciplinary programming, advocacy, and collaboration. They spark meaningful change in the cultural landscape by supporting the creative growth of people with disabilities, empowering them to explore, create, and lead with confidence and strength.

Established in 1996, Art Spark Texas is an Austin-based nonprofit that challenges perceptions of how people contribute by creating an arts-inspired, inclusive community of individuals with diverse abilities. Through classes, workshops, exhibitions, and performance opportunities across music, visual art, writing, theater, and dance. Art Spark Texas provides dedicated veteran services for current and prior military members and their families, recognizing the arts as a powerful tool for veterans to express what they saw, heard, and experienced during service.

Programs also offer veterans the opportunity to expand their support networks and connect with fellow veterans in a creative, inclusive environment. A special focus is placed on women veterans — Texas has the highest number of female veterans in the United States. Art Spark Texas hosts an annual Women Veterans "Moving Forward Through the Creative Arts" conference, monthly Women Veterans Strong virtual meetings, and workshops specifically designed for female veterans throughout the year.
