What makes this organization unique?
The goal at Caddo K9 Academy is to train and provide service dogs to disabled veterans and first responders without any charge. This ensures that financial limitations do not prevent them from receiving the necessary and well-deserved support.
We specialize in training service dogs for mobility assistance, medical alerts, and PTSD therapy. Our puppies leave Caddo K9 when they are 12 weeks old, having obtained their AKC STAR puppy certification. They then return to us at the age of 1 year for ACK CGC plus training and certification.
Depending on the behaviors required, training durations can last between 6 months and 2 years beyond CGC certification.
