What makes the organization unique?

The Painted Buffalo, a dynamic and inspiring hub where creativity and community come together! Our exceptional workshop is thoughtfully designed for aspiring tiny home builders, bus builders, and anyone eager to tap into their creative potential and explore new skills. We pride ourselves on offering a diverse range of experiences, including our impactful initiative known as The Can Project, which empowers veterans to articulate and share their unique stories through the transformative power of art. Situated on our flourishing homestead, which is home to a delightful array of animals such as donkeys, goats, pigs, ducks, chickens and quail, we are dedicated to creating an environment that turns a mere house into a warm and inviting home, and a farm into a flourishing pasture. Our vision extends beyond what we currently have; we are committed to growing our beloved homestead to include a bountiful garden, a vibrant farm stand, and additional land for cultivation. We wholeheartedly invite you to join our ever-growing community, where you can drop your pack, immerse yourself in creativity, and discover the serenity that The Painted Buffalo Homestead + Makerspace has to offer. Together, we can nurture a space that celebrates collaboration and connection, making it a true sanctuary for all.
