What makes KAMO Adventures unique?
The Mission of KAMO Adventures is three-fold:
They offer hunting and fishing experiences in a safe and supportive environment where veterans can assist each other in the healing process, both mentally and physically. Each experience is unique and we encourage the veterans to focus on their abilities, regardless of their current physical or emotional limitations.

They provide education opportunities for veterans and their families through a scholarship fund established at the University of Kansas and the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

They help veterans transition into the civilian workforce through networking and employment opportunities.

Who Can Sign Up to Participate?:
Any currently serving or honorably discharged veteran can sign up for KAMO Adventures for an event. Our scholarships are administered through their respective universities and those are available to injured veterans and their dependents.

How much does it cost to participate:
Free

What kind of activities are offered by the organization?:
Hunting and Fishing trips,
usually we have one fishing trip and two hunts per year,
we offer scholarships at UMKC and KU
and then employment networking assistance

How long do the activities last?:
The trips usually run from midday Thursday to around 12 noon on Sunday, so 4 days
