What makes AmpSurf unique?
AmpSurf™ is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established to Promote, Inspire, Educate, and Rehabilitate (PIER) all people with disabilities and their families through adaptive surfing and other outdoor activities. Ocean Therapy is a relatively new program that uses the ocean’s
therapeutic nature to help alleviate symptoms of post-traumatic stress, it is also being used to help those with amputations, have visual impairment,
quadriplega etc.


AmpSurf provides all ocean crafts and wetsuits for participants. All our instructors are certified experienced water men and woman, each participant is paired with at least 1 instructor and 2 water helpers for peace of mind and safety. AmpSurf provides refreshments through-out the day and a light lunch at close of the clinic.

Who can sign up to participate?

Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) amputee, visually impaired, suffer from PTS (post traumatic stress), or have quadriplegia. Whether they served
in WWII, Korea, Vietnam, the Gulf war, Iraq or Afghanistan.  Whether they are an autistic child or a young woman who has lost a limb to cancer.
