What makes Vermont Paws & Boots Unique?
Vermont Paws & Boots assists disabled Veterans and First Responders by teaming them with rescue dogs and creating a bond allowing each to thrive again.

Vermont Paws & Boots was established to assist our Military Veterans & First Responders who have sustained various disabilities through their service to our country and communities. Vermont Paws & Boots partners rescue dogs with individuals in need and trains them to work as a team. Creating a bond between these two allows for both to once again thrive.

How much does it cost to participate?
Veterans, First responders, and canines.

How long does it take to acquire the dog after signing up?
It all starts with the work of building the bond between the handler and the dog. This is an important step because a strong bond is needed so each member of the team learn to trust each other. Once this is done, the training can start in earnest.

Where does the organization get the puppies that you train?
rescue dogs

Where do the veterans sign up to participate?
