What makes Promise Landing Farm unique?
Promise Landing Farm is a creative engine for inclusivity, engaging community members with and without disabilities in meaningful interactions with each other and their equine partners to foster a community where everyone is valued and included.

Who Can Sign Up to Participate?:
They offer services for persons with and without disabilities ages 4 years and older, including veterans and their families at our headquarters in Upper Marlboro, MD and at the Melwood Recreation Center in Nanjemoy, MD.

How much does it cost to participate:
We offer in-house financial aid for those who qualify,
and we also accept a wide variety of third party funding.
Adaptive Riding Lessons are $70/hr. private lesson and $65/hr. semi-private lesson. They offer financial assistance and accept other forms of funding including scholarships from the Wounded Warrior Project.

What kind of activities are offered by the organization?
They offer mounted and unmounted horsemanship activities including riding lessons and equine assisted learning programs. They also provide equine-assisted activities for Operation Tohidu, a holistic retreat helping wounded warriors overcome obstacles to their recovery and supporting their successful reintegration at the Melwood Recreation Center in Nanjemoy, MD.

How long do the activities last?
Activities are typically 1-2 hours in length, depending on the services being provided.
